meet Anaiah aka "Papaya"

As a girl who grew up dancing, singing, acting, and modeling I guess I might as well have added photography to the list! I was the kid who had a camera with her at all times and took way too many selfies with her friends. Now it is something that has become one of my favorite creative outlets. I am currently based in Los Angeles and have been here for almost 10 years! I received my BFA in dance in 2016 and started pursuing photography shortly after. I am constantly inspired by the beautiful artists that I have met since living in LA. These connections have led me to create incredible conceptual works based off of the essence each artist holds or portrays. All of my projects are an extension of both me and the model combined. I am a self taught and hand-me-down equipment sort of girl. However, here I am making things that I never would've dreamed I would be making.
